Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Round and well-covered with some mellow maturity. Fruit cake mix, clean spiciness, integrated wood. Lightly resinous, incense slightly yeasty.
Palate: Generous, with a bitter/sweet interplay. Gentle in the centre then a full-on spice attack mixed with mulberry depth. Raspberry vinegar, lemon zest. Water makes it too bitter.
Finish: Head-shakingly zesty.
Comment: It has balance but needs to be approached with cautious respect.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense with a slightbutyric touch. Overripe fruit. Medlars. A fungal and earthy note. Develops on sweeter notes. White chocolate with candied orange.
Palate: Very sweet at start then releasing a firework of spices. Oak shows up butnot blatantly.
Finish: Quickly fading. Warm and pleasant.
Comment: The nose is more expressive than the palate which does not have the same elegancy and nuance. But still very drinkable.
