Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Rich, fruity. Very biscuity. Butter shortbread or warm apple crumble. A hint of peat. Some delicate forest aromas (fern, moss).
Palate: Smooth, sweet and very spicy. All fruit cake aromas. Candied grapefruit. Oak tends to hold back fruity flavours. Ginger and paprika.
Finish: Crisp, dry and long.
Comment: More of a spicy tendency than other versions.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Fresh. Minty. Spicy.
Palate: A clear, bright orange colour suggests sherry, which duly emerges. The whisky nonetheless seems thin; then intensely sweet; those green fruits again.
Finish: Suddenly peppery, hot and aggressive.
Comment: Very lively, but ill-tempered. I kept expecting it to propose the return of military service, or demand that I had my hair cut.
