Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Restrained, dry, smokiness.
Palate: So smooth as to be elusive. Soft, delicate, elegant. Sweet limes and lemons.
Finish: Bitter orange. The peat and smoke returns, with sugared-almond sweetness gradually emerging.
Comment: A whisky of seductive charm.
9.8
Taster   David Robertson
Nose: Floral and fragrant. Hints of wood and spice.
Palate: Richly phenolic with lemon and apples.
Finish: Mouth coating oiliness delivers a long lasting phenolic and lemony aftertaste.
Comment: A very unusual expression of The Macallan. Unquestionably a classic.
