Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Deep. Big. The sherry influence is temperate and enhances beautifully the oaky notes. Elegant, luscious.Dried apricot, candied orange. Cloves.
Palate: The same luscious sensation. Round, caressing.Exotic fruit. Passion fruit and mango. Develops on spices.
Finish: Spicy, pepper dust. A touch of burnt wood. Nutty aftertaste.
Comment: What an intriguing dram ! The best of sherry in a complex and refined expression. Gets close to an oldcognac. No water, please.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Scented and musky with dried flower mint and marzipan with a smear of varnish. Water brings out baked apple and dried fruit.Rich and mellow.
Palate: Direct, showing some age. A hint of soap at the front but not unpleasantly so. Richly fruited but refreshing.Dry leaves and slightly grippy.
Finish: Dry, bosky
Comment: Best neat. Slightly firm but well worth a look.
