Tasting notes

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Generous and big. Creamed coconut, then mango,pine,caramel,barley sugar,vanilla and a kumquat citriclift. Complex.
Palate: Finely tuned with more complexity than many would expect from a grain. Spicy oak adds structure to the gentle mellow mid palate. Toffee.
Finish: Long and gentle.
Comment: Complex and characterful.

Taster Kate Portman (nee Ennis)

Nose: A hint of coconut and sweet vanilla. Initially doesn't give too much away but evolves in the glass.
Palate: Bursts on the tongue with rich dark,almost burnt caramel,like cinder toffee.
Finish: Sprightly and intense.
Comment: Nothing neutral about this - a real character.
