Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Prickly. Butyric at first. Milk parlour. Farm like aromas. Wet straw. The butyric note vanishes as sweeter notes come through. Shortbread. Green grapes. With water, a grassy character. Lemon balm.
Palate: Dry and crisp. Getting fizzy. Vanilla yogurt. Fresh crushed almonds. Water brings out grassy flavours.
Finish: Dry,spicy. Almondy.
Comment: This whisky needs water to tame the alcohol. Pleasant enough.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fat and hot. Mealy, bread and buter pudding and a little touch of plumped up sultana.
Palate: Sweet and fragrant. Very floral lifting off into lilac, then pear and a pleasing buzz of spices in the centre. Water allows its purity of flavour to develop. Light and delicate.
Finish: Prickly.
Comment: With water is fine boned and delicate.
