Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Shows good maturity. Oak-driven and spicy with soft, sweet, black fruits - blueberry and sloe. Lightly vinous with plum jam, apple, light chocolate, dried cherry. Slightly mossy.
Palate: Balanced. Soft fruits backed with crisp sweet oak. Gentle, fleshy and smooth with a tongue-coating quality. Damson-stone bitterness gives balance and stops it being too jammy.
Finish: Clean, thick, sweet.
Comment: A new land for Glenfiddich and the drinker. Recommended.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Farm-like. Cowshed, wet straw. Milk parlour. Butyric. A grassy touch. Lemonbalm. Sweetmeadow flowers.
Palate: Sweet at first but immediately followed by an oaky grip which releases bitter notes. Getting fizzy. Dry cider. Ginger. Dark chocolate. Sweeter with water but not really palatable.
Finish: Dry and fizzy. Numbs the tongue without water.
Comment: That farmyard profile is a bit too much. And the palate is dour though sweet.Lacks balance.
