Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Distinctly pinky with a sweet, slightly jammy nose: rosehip jelly, rasps, stewed fruit tea, sweet apple and a hint of smoke.
Palate: Sweet start, a (balanced) grippy mid-palate then a slow, sweet wine gum like centre. Bittersweet wild fruits (rowan) balanced by oak.
Finish: Long and sweet.
Comment: A generous distillate given a little nudge by the finish. Very well balanced.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Digestive biscuits (shortbread?) in the foreground, give way to distant background of ripe tropical fruits. Banana? Vanilla, too.
Palate: Viscous. Well done toast, unsalted butter and maybe home-made lemon curd.
Finish: Fruity? Faintly citric with traces of cocoa.
Comment: Should the pink tangerine blush of this whisky hint at Bacchus? He may have glanced at the cask, but I can't find him in the glass.
