Tasting notes

Taster Joe Bates

Nose: A bit shy on the nose initially, but some brandy-soaked raisin aromas lurk underneath.
Palate: A rich mouth-feel with lots of dried fruit, molasses, and oaky notes with just a hint of dry tobacco.
Finish: Expect a sweet and resinous finish that lingers.
Comment: A well-balanced, elegant whiskey which delivers a good balance of sweet and spice.

Nose: Linseed, slightly grassy, green apples and brittle toffee.
Palate: Quite thin, gently spiced, with cocoa.
Finish: Cocoa and muted spices.
Comment: Lacking real body.
