Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Ripe with some woodsmoke, mulch/humus. Sweet, rich and deep with hints of sulphur.
Palate: Soft and long. Tomato puree, treacle toffee and gravy browning. Deep andintense with grip.
Finish: Long, firming.
Comment: Yes there's sulphur but it's not off putting for me.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sherried. Dense. Damp warehouse or more precisely cider cellar. Burnt wood. Earthy. Moss. Fig syrup. Coffee and walnut cake.
Palate: Sweet and mellow at start then the wood prevails. Huge wave of liquorice.Eau-de-vie cherries in dark chocolate.
Finish: Lingering, nutty and chocolatey.
Comment: A well balanced sherried whisky. Rich, complex with a beautiful finish.
