Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Scented. Night stocks, honeysuckle, baked apple with caramelised Demerara sugar. The light, savoury edge that comes with age. Water makes it slightly drier with hints of tropical fruit and, in time, wood oils.
Palate: Tongue-coating. A scented bower with peachy depths and some melon that shifts to BBQ pineapple. Elegant and refined.
Finish: Clean with a raspberry touch.
Comment: Elegance personified. A great mature complex dram.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Elegant, fragrant. Delicately spicy. Nutmeg, coriander. Raisins. Stewed rhubarb. Opening on luscious vanilla toffee notes. Hint of liquorice. Complex, rich without ostentation. Toffee.
Palate: Satin-like. A soft oily feel surprisingly followed by a crunchy crispiness. Elegant oak. .
Finish: Dry with a nutty aftertaste.
Comment: A well matured, balanced and complex. Water fades its colourful character though.
