Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Perfumy, floral. Clover. Elderflower. A touch of acacia honey. Frangipani flower. Touch of malt syrup. Gets biscuity. All very appetising.
Palate: Sweet, intriguing. Flavours coil up in a sensuous herbal aromatic display.
Finish: Warm and tender, gingery, with a sweet touch of liquorice. Water reveals peat and smoke.
Comment: Forget your herbal tea. Go for this fantastic Islay potion!

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Green bananas. Tending to dryness with some icing sugar and menthol.
Palate: Tart. Good balance between initial sweetness and later sharp notes. Water releases some fruitiness.
Finish: Soft and slightly papery. Some very late fennel-like bitterness.
Comment: Somehow, fails to progress into anything really characterful.
