Tasting notes
Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Bubblegum, white fruit along with peach, apricot and pineapple followed by what appears to be voluptuously sweet first-fill American oak and barley. Citrus adds balance.
Palate: A huge mouthful of rich, creamy, milky, buttery oak. I think I can taste a touch of barley and citrus.
Finish: Finally the citrus breaks free of the oak.
Comment: As much as I like American oak, it was too dominant on the palate for me.

Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Young tobacco at first (newly rolled cigars, before long ageing) with a touch of oak dust and some young leather about it. Nubuck comes through, as does newly spun wool.
Palate: Light coffee notes are the first things to hit, which are followed by Bourbon notes of vanilla and tannin. This develops into a distinctly earthy n
Finish: Ends with a grape-ish finish, almost like a young Armagnac.
Comment: A curious dram, which is full of flavour but not quite balanced enough.
