Tasting notes
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Rose petals, dried Pot Pourri, some dry cider, golden syrup, a little stewed fruit and floral hand soap.
Palate: Quite youthful, but vibrant. Lemon zest, fresh peaches and cream, light vanilla tones and rich tea biscuits all round out a delicate palate.
Finish: Short, with a resonance of the peaches and cream, with a little of the apple/cider note lingering further in.
Comment: As we reach the end of the summer, drams like this become less appealing, so here's to the last few weeks of outdoor weather to enjoy this one.
8.3
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: Baked Seville orange and summer ripe strawberries with honey drizzle. Morello cherries and a delicate splash of violet gomme syrup. Water brought out softer floral notes and orange bath bomb.
Palate: A rich earthiness and chewy caramel toffee. Freshly peeled mandarin skins and almond nut from the tree. Softly warming honey and orange hot toddy.
Finish: Sticky and mouth filling, then soothing.
Comment: A gentle personality and a crowd pleaser.
