Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Light but tangy. Lemon zest, dry hay. Lemon grass. Fresh and lively.
Palate: Malty, sweet. Cereal bowl. Grassy. Garden mint. White peaches. Pleasant mouthfeel.
Finish: Rather short but clean.
Comment: A straightforward refreshing dram. To be sipped on a summer afternoon. I would easily drop one or two ice cubes in my glass.
8.0
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Not especially forthcoming. Tends to flat, dusty caramel notes. Waxy and minty.
Palate: Sweet and salty. Warming and gingery. Unexpected but definite coastal touches - iodine?
Finish: Firm, chewy and ever so slightly phenolic.
Comment: Uninspiring nose more than compensated for by challenging and surprising palate. Appetising.
