Tasting notes
Taster   Joe Bates
Nose: Lots of sherry aromas on the nose with some toasted notes and marzipan.
Palate: Lots of intense sweetshop flavours vie for attention here: boiled fruit drops, liquorice stick alongside sweet spices such as cinnamon and nutmeg.
Finish: Initially honeyed, but then tannic notes make for a dry finish.
Comment: Too sweet for some perhaps, but those with a liking for sherry-influenced whiskies will find a lot to like here

Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Full and sweet; glacé cherries and many floral spices.
Palate: Medium-bodied, raisin and prunes, plus developing oak.
Finish: A slightly bitter note of tarmac.
Comment: A promising dram with a slightly disappointing finish.
