Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Big and punchy, plenty of vanilla and fresh baked cherry pie. The sweetness of peaches and syrup, black banana and heaps of buttered corn. A little chilli spice.
Palate: Hot at first with lots of that chilli spice, with a little water more floral notes come through. In time this becomes more of a buttered corn with smoked sea salt.
Finish: Hot and spicy, jalapeno stuffed with cream cheese, and a touch of Earl Grey tea.
Comment: Big and to be honest pretty awesome. Packs plenty of flavour punches too.

Taster Sam Coyne

Nose: Holy smokes. No need to get that nose hair waxed, it's been blown away. Get past the initial heft of this one and there is a warming, savoury smoked ham note.
Palate: More of the pepper. The smoked ham note gets a word in and then it becomes a little herbal. As it develops we get a little sweet, albeit spiced, vanilla custard.
Finish: Packs a punch. Water dials it down a touch but it is far sweeter than expected.
Comment: Think Bruce Willis in Die Hard; Good, bold(bald) and unashamedly punchy.
