Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Smoky with a distant sooty note. Smoke lingers over sweet malty aromas. Barley sugar. Marshmallow. Lemon drop. A light character, displaying an impressionist pattern.
Palate: Sweet and fresh. Smoky lemonade (if such thing existed!). Almondy. The same light character as on the nose. It is as if water had already been added.
Finish: Short but pleasant. Lots of marzipan.
Comment: A simple thirst-quenching and refreshing dram. Lightweight but this is not a complaint.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clean and very smoky/briny. Very pure, with light citrus and green fruits. Water puts the flames out leaving ashes, wet grass, cowpats and burnt sticks.
Palate: More ash like. Clean with a slight inkiness. Bone dry none dry and this lack of sweetness slightly unbalances it
Finish: Clean and smoked. Fresh.
Comment: Worth a look.
