Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Floral. Fading rose. Maple syrup. Old furniture. A distant note of dark chocolate.
Palate: Smooth, velvety. A beautiful balance between sweet and bitter. Chocolateand raisins. Fulfilling. Getting oakier.
Finish: Rich oak. Creamy. Lingering.
Comment: A beautiful bourbon, fully matured and showing an elegant balance.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Rich and warming. Oak, nougat, melted chocolate before sour cherry, rye flour, pot pourri faded roses and light tobacco. Sweet but tart at the same time.
Palate: The sweetness of age and oak is quickly eliminated by nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon and pepper.
Finish: Spice.
Comment: A more rye-accented single barrel but one which maintains this series' highstandard of excellence.
