Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Not very intense to start with. Light, grassy, ethereal. Fresh oak, sawdust. Touch of leather.
Palate: Rather sweet. Well-balanced. In tune with the nose. Oak mingles with spices (peppermint, candied ginger).
Finish: Dry, nutty and spicy.
Comment: Straightforward. Needs a splash of water, but much smoother than expected.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Oily. Passion fruit. Iron-ish, but sweet.
Palate: Drying on the tongue. Clinging syrupiness. Gritty. Dry. Sherbety. Peppery.
Finish: Big, long, rummy, warming.
Comment: The best Convalmore I have tasted, with the typically big, fruity syrupiness. After dinner.
