Tasting notes

Taster Michael Jackson

Nose: Toasty.
Palate: Big. Soft. Syrupy. Sweetish. Very fruity. Winey. Easily drinkable.
Finish: Lurking behind, and emerging gradually, restrained balancing dryness of toast and oak.
Comment: Seems simple at first, but then develops stylishly.

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: An overwhelming array of aromas: vanilla, orange blossom, poached pear, cooked plum, membrillo, overripe fruit, maple syrup.
Palate: Sweet with a soft, full texture. Victoria plum, citrus oil and a malty core. Good structure.
Finish: Black fruits. Soft.
Comment: Decent balance means the finish isn't dominating. Just a bit blowsy?
