Tasting notes

Taster Rob Allanson

Nose: Opens with creamy oak and a honey edge. There is a deep richness andspice notes too.
Palate: Hits you in waves of sweetness and candied fruit peel. There are also softfruits and spice layers.
Finish: Relaxing, gentle and long.
Comment: A wonderfully complex whisky. Everything is in harmony.

Nose: Earthy. Wet moss. Bracken. Opens on creamier notes. Crème caramel, praline. Rich and complex. Orange marmalade.
Palate: Crisp like wild silk. Delivers layers of flavours. Kumquat and bitter oranges,dark chocolate and raisins.
Finish: Nutty,long and soothing on marzipan.
Comment: Rich and complex. Superbly balanced and elegant. To enjoy with Beethoven's 7th Symphony.
