Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Meaty, oak framed. Distinctive sherry influence. Roasted chicken. Dark plums, dates. Treacle.A hint of liquorice.
Palate: Round, smooth. Surprising sweetness. Dried fruit (sultanas, dates). Bitter chocolate.
Finish: Long, with a dry bitterness and spicy chocolate.
Comment: A well-balanced dram. Sherry signs it but not in an assertive way.
Taster   Dominic Roskrow
Nose: Rhubarb, gooseberries, grapes and celery.
Palate: Earthy, savoury, complex, with nutty and oak later.
Finish: Long with oak and fruit notes.
Comment: Like the new Ardmore,an acquired but complex taste worth working on.
