Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Shy at first then opening on autumnal aromas. Wet leaves,a hint of mushroom. Cider apples in the attic. Asmoky and damp scent rises up with an earthy note.
Palate: Smooth. Alcohol is well mastered. Peaty. A big smoky flavour wrapping fruit. Then fresh oak wins over fruit.
Finish: Crisp,dry,tickling. A leafy touch.
Comment: The smoky character is more expressive on the palate than on the nose. Goes with the season.
7.5
Taster   Dominic Roskrow
Nose: Starts off with burger relish and chicory coffee, but there is a chemical off note too, particularly with water.
Palate: Peat and root vegetables battling with an unpleasant dirty note.
Finish: Gloopy,vinous, and not nice.
Comment: Reminds me of accident I had once with my chemistry set.
