Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Nose shows stewed prunes, coal sack, walnut, honey, mint toffee, vanilla and reminiscent of an old bureau: polished wood, dust and leather.
Palate: Thick and oaky with deep, rich, silky black fruit flavours. Leather, coffee grounds and a little smoke.
Finish: Dry and slightly woody then a puff of fragrant, heathery smoke.
Comment: A big whisky which needs time in the glass to open.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Some oaky, cedary, leathery notes.
Palate: Rich and very creamy indeed. Still nutty. Some cereal-grain notes. Hazelnuts. Grassy peatiness.
Finish: Long, soothing, warming. Becoming drier.
Comment: With a light, fragrant cigar?
