Tasting notes

Taster Michael Jackson

Nose: Scented. Beeswax.
Palate: Delicate orange-blossom. restrained fruitiness: sweet oranges, cherries, port.
Finish: Flowery balancing dryness. Warming. Soothing.
Comment: Connoisseurs might miss the austerity of the original - or enjoy the added layer of fruity, winey, sweetness.

Taster Doug McIvor

Nose: Promising, delicate orangey spiciness, fruity, toffeeish backdrop with subtle hints of madeira wine.
Palate: Full caramel and coffee textures emerge from initial floral and spicy, prickling characters. Lingering until the gentle sweetness yields to reveal more coffee, crème brûlée and soft peat.
Finish: Smooth, smoky and chocolatey. Very dry at the death.
Comment: For coffee, cigar and chocolate lovers.
