Tasting notes

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Fragrant and soft with vanilla/custard notes and spicy wood.
Palate: Soft. Flows nicely across the palate.
Finish: A little prickle, but far too mild-mannered to annoy.
Comment: All very pleasant, but a pretty one-dimensional experience. No-one could be offended by this, but no-one will be excited either.

Nose: Marzipan.
Palate: Lightly smooth. Sweetish, but well balanced. Almondy. Clean.
Finish: Rounded.
Comment: Pleasant. Easy drinking for a pre-bourbon novice. Perhaps a little unfair to judge it in this company.
