Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Warm, oaky. Milk chocolate, apples baked in oven, bread and butter pudding. Appetising and rich. With water, a creamy vanilla note.
Palate: Round and smooth. Oak is well integrated. Cloved orange. Darkerchocolate than on the nose.
Finish: Smooth, quite lingering. Liquorice.
Comment: A well balanced whisky. A pleasant delivery of dessert-like flavours.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Bitter (pickled) plums and damp straw. Clearly aged with touches of rape seed oil. The weird opening flies off revealing walnut oil, damp ferns. Becomes increasingly interesting and complex.
Palate: Medium bodied with plenty of crisp wood, peppermint then clove. Lightlyastringent (those plums again).
Finish: Nuttiness returns.
Comment: Has a certain louche charm to it.
