Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: A forest at autumn with sweet damp leaves.Very perfumed with just a suggestion of smoke wafting through the trees.
Palate: Very refreshing and clean. Some Christmas cake notes and a hint of mint.
Finish: Another luxurious whisky. A little peat again.
Comment: Very moreish, good for a session or two with friends.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Herbal with a dry, twiggy, nuttiness though there's some sweetness behind which emerges in time. Sensual and weighty with stewed fruit, black butter and a touch of sandalwood.
Palate: Quite fat and maybe just lacking in grip.Dried flower, violet. Rich dried fruits.Doesn't like water.
Finish: Ripe and rich. Balanced
Comment: Just a little too fat for me,though a little unfair to slip two blends among all of these malts!
