Tasting notes
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Sweet, gristy and fresh for age.
Palate: Melt in the mouth despite strength with oak and malt battling out for honours.
Finish: A very late almost subliminal hint of peat.
Comment: A charming malt, though rather shy. Easily among the top Glencadams yet bottled.
7.8
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: An almost papery, fruit-skin, dryness.
Palate: Starts like the layer of soft caramel in a Mars bar. Remarkably creamy. Astonishingly peach-like.
Finish: Very lively. Almost effervescent.
Comment: Lacks roundness, structure, balance. I was sorry to hear that this distillery has been closed. Temporarily?
