Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense, slightly prickly. Smoky and grassy. Bonfire with seaweeds. A whiff of creosote. A sweeter note of pear nectar. Distant hint of tar too.
Palate: Sweet and oily. Very fresh. Mint toffee. Smoke is less present than on the nose. Quite delicate and well integrated.
Finish: Short but clean and sweet. A fruity apple note.
Comment: A stunning achievement for such a young whisky. Don't look for complexity (yet) but you do get the full enjoyment of its character.
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Pine needles, bow rosin and sharp green fruits. A little fence post, telegraph pole. Caramel roasted nuts. A little salty, boiled samphire. Orange sherbet and a hint of pepper.
Palate: Fruity, sweet and very clean. More gentle pine and spearmint. Shows a little youth but still balanced. A little smoke at the end.
Finish: Short and crisp.
Comment: Shows some serious promise. Pretty well balanced for a three year old.
