Tasting notes

Taster Martine Nouet

Nose: Floral. Freesia, violet. Opening on grassy notes. Dry hay. Honey.
Palate: Smooth, sweet. Cereal flavours then drying on dusty spices.
Finish: Restrained, with an almondy note.
Comment: A light floral and grassy whisky which lacks structure and body. Too young probably.

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Now we have a cross between two samples, as if the sweet shop has merged business with the nail bar. Intense and a little metallic.
Palate: Like chewing on a foil wrapper. Light sweet fruits.
Finish: Sprite (the drink, not the fairy).
Comment: Yet more immature whisky on the market - why? It's not doing the distiller, or the consumer any favours.
