Tasting notes
Taster   Joel Harrison
Nose: Rhubarb and custard, it is like an old-school sweet shop with some cinnamon notes developing and a touch of crystallised ginger too.
Palate: Really fruity with some strawberry, white chocolate, raspberry ripple ice cream… you get the picture. Fruit, fruit and more fruit! If you like your drams sweet, this is for you.
Finish: Boiled sweets at the end, this is a wee cracker!
Comment: I like this a lot. You couldn’t drink a lot of it, but it would pair well with dessert.

Taster   Chris Goodrum
Nose: Wonderfully fragrant with barley, and sub-tropical fruit. Lightly salted with a touch of ozone, orange, malt, straw and buttery oak. Water brings out some spice and lanolin.
Palate: A little masked by the alcohol but good depth of salt encrusted apricot. Hints of honey, straw and malt. Water brings some gorgeously juicy orange, malty spice and a touch of smoke.
Finish: Long and salty with the sweet fruit and barley balancing.
Comment: Not your average Campbeltown malt. It bears more than a passing resemblance to Arran!
