Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Shy initially, then blossoms. Wood and fruit gracefully interlace. Muscat grape. Dates. Vanilla rice pudding. Carnations.
Palate: More wood than on the nose. Creamy. Sweet stewed plums. Oaky.
Finish: Quickly fades with sweet fruity notes.
Comment: Not the depth of the PortWood 21 Years Old, but thoroughly enjoyable.
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Sweet, quite winey, reminiscent of old Tavel rose. There's some honey, spices, charred fruits and red fruits. Subtle.
Palate: Soft and honeyed with a sweet redcurrant jelly flavour. Good weight and balance. A sweet gentle malt.
Finish: Soft.
Comment: Well-mannered and well-balanced.
