Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Sweetish, creamy, herbal, winey.
Palate: Smooth, sweet. Soft berry fruits. Prunes. Lots of flavour development. Becoming spicy, with cinnamon and later ginger.
Finish: Figs in cream. Green peppercorns. Very long.
Comment: As the glass sits on my desk, aromas and flavours slowly emerge, I like it more and more, but I suspect it will always be overshadowed by last year's Côte de Nuits.
8.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Sweet and softly elegant. Fresh herbs (thyme), orange, bread with a hint of charred wood in background.
Palate: Quite dry. Plenty of wood with soft fruit mid-palate. Char.
Finish: Soft.
Comment: Liqueur style. Good balance.
