Tasting notes

Taster Neil Ridley

Nose: Quite delicate and light, with a fragrant and zesty note of fresh lime, vanilla, acacia honey and custard.
Palate: More zesty notes of lemon meringue, a creamy vanilla alongside a very light and fragrant smoke.
Finish: Surprisingly drying and short, but with lingering smoke and vanilla.
Comment: One for when the sun comes out.

Taster Martine Nouet

Nose: Malty. Oatcakes, muesli. A precise new leather note. Opening on grassy aromas. Drying hay, lemon balm. Aniseed.
Palate: Light and crisp. Sweet herbal tea. Aniseed, dill. Ripe pear.
Finish: Sweet, medium long. Keeping that fresh aniseed character.
Comment: A classic Bourbon cask maturation. Refreshing and satisfying. A good springtime malt to enjoy with smoked salmon.
