Tasting notes

Taster Gavin D. Smith

Nose: Floral and spicy, with a hint of incense.
Palate: Relatively thin, sweet, with fudge, slight sherry and ginger.
Finish: Medium in length, with a hint of chilli and some dark chocolate.
Comment: The palate disappoints slightly by not offering a lot more fullness.

Taster Joe Bates

Nose: A delicately perfumed nose offering up gentle honey, vanilla and lemon citrus.
Palate: Honey predominates on the palate with some toffee and vanilla.
Finish: A medium-length finish with just a touch of spice.
Comment: Not too much to get the pulses racing here. A perfectly acceptable straightforward dram, but perhaps lacking a bit of character and depth.
