Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Sweet, light. Citrussy. Lemon meringue pie. Fresh almonds.
Palate: Satin-like. Sweet. With the same citrussy profile as on the nose. Lemon posset. Creamy. Touch of aniseed. Drying on ginger notes.
Finish: Clean, short, with an almond aftertaste coming through.
Comment: A well knitted dram, fresh and straightforward. For a warm (if any ?) summer evening.
7.7
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Very light and slightly exposed. Malty/dusty flour sacks, felt. A little vegetal. With water, oaky.
Palate: Better than the rather plain nose with better integration. Lemon, flour again giving a slightly puffy quality. Hints of a floral border. Water picks it up a little more adding sweetness, but preserving clean acidity.
Finish: Delicate.
Comment: Once in the mouth things start to happen but a little too restrained.
