Tasting notes

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Dark sherried colour. Some black fruits alongside date and fig. Smoke comes through with some violet.
Palate: Fresh and slightly ozonic. The midpalate has salted chocolate. Very clean and quite zesty, with a floral edge towards the finish. Doesn't like water.
Finish: Clean and light.
Comment: Balanced and fine.

Taster Martine Nouet

Nose: Deep rich. Polished floor. Sweet prunes, vanilla. A floral note. Touch of liquorice. Smoke creeps in.
Palate: Sweet and sour. Lots of oak. With a cardboard note and a water feel at mid palate.
Finish: Dry, with some astringency.
Comment: The nose is sweeter than the palate. A strong character.
