Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Big, creamy and sweet. Plenty of fruit, cocoa, butterscotch, honey and oak. Complex.
Palate: Medium weight but mouthfilling with a punchy, rich middle palate. Sweet, ripe toffee fruits: sultana cake, cinnamon, apple, butterscotch, spicy. Real drive.
Finish: Long, complex, sweet.
Comment: An elegant, sophisticated malt. On this evidence, a real loss to the industry.
8.5
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Expressive, distinctive, appetising. Orange, apricot, anis.
Palate: Apricot jam on buttered toast.
Finish: Orange juice with a shot of Pernod.
Comment: I think I have discovered a breakfast whisky. They can call it Dallas Dhu. I'll dub it \"Death in the Morning. \"
