Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Intense mix of dried fruits and spices, heather and honey laced with a little lemon. The smoke is here too.
Palate: Hints of coconut and vanilla mix with heather and peat. Big mouthcoatingbut with a silkiness to it.
Finish: Long and smoky.
Comment: It is almost like they have put the usual 12 Years Old on steroids. Great stuff.
8.5
Taster   Dominic Roskrow
Nose: Big plum and prune notes, broody smoke and some blood orange.
Palate: A big, bold whisky, with rich plum and berries and a coarse peat carpet. Lots of conflicts and contrasts. A roller coaster experience.
Finish: Coats the mouth and lingers, with fruit, pepper and peat.
Comment: Another worthy addition to the Highland Park range. Only on limited release but well worth seeking out.
