Tasting notes
Taster   David Robertson
Nose: Rich wood smoke, wild mountain thyme with hints of cloves and cinnamon.
Palate: Richly woody with floral and citrus orange.
Finish: Woody dryness. Warming cinnamon spice.
Comment: Its wood smoke is the richest and easiest character to recognise.
9.3
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Smoky, earthy, sensuous.
Palate: Light, lively, smoky, toffeeish.
Finish: A suggestion of salt. How on earth did that get into the bottle?
Comment: Lighter-bodied and drier than the others. I found it a little thin in the middle.
