Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fragrant. Grass, bracken and lemon peel. In time mead-like, spiced apple cider, coconut. Deep but perfumed.
Palate: Sweet start, mixing syrup, spices, apple, glacé cherry and sweet grasses. Well-balanced.
Finish: Slightly bitter nuttiness.
Comment: Highly attractive. Worth having a look at.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Hazelnuts. White pepper. An echo of fresh paint. Light fruit then fudge. Orange chocolate.
Palate: Tangy. Gingery. Quiet one-dimensional. Almond cake.
Finish: Spicy, slowly fading on creamy toffee.
Comment: More complexity on the nose than on the palate. A pleasant whisky though. But quite disappointing for a Strathisla of that age.
