Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Perfumy, creamy. Vanilla toffee. Steamed peaches.Hazelnut icecream. Developing on soft grassy notes.
Palate: Smooth and neat. In total harmony with the nose. A full basket of ripe fruit, enhanced by delicate spices. And a beautiful expression of sweet maltiness.
Finish: Nutty,drier,quite long.
Comment: A refined single malt delivering a well written ode to Speyside.
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Sweetness with some bubblegum (Bazooka Joe) strawberry, unsalted butter and orange zest. There's a real spearmint fragrance and a light waxiness.
Palate: Quite thick texture with good length and a set clover honey mid-palate. Some sweet spices gather towardsthe finish. Medium bodied.
Finish: Softand silky.
Comment: Best neat and further proof of Balvenie's premier league status.
