Tasting notes
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: Distinctive (port?) wood influences of raspberry, red berries and milk chocolate orange. Very juicy neat with floral cherry orchards when diluted.
Palate: Aromatic grapefruit and rose. Wafer thin prosciutto on malted loaf, with drying pomegranate. A warm woodiness underpins all the flavours.
Finish: A gentle tingle lingers on the side of the tongue for ages.
Comment: Elegant, feminine and flirtatious. Gives you the wink and easy to drink.

Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Buttered brown toast, some potted shrimps, a dark caramel sauce and a hint of cocoa nibs.
Palate: Mouth coating and very complex: liquorice, dark chocolate, plump raisins, dark toasted malt, Brazil nuts and eucalyptus/menthol notes. Superb and well rounded.
Finish: Lingering spice, dark chocolate and pepper give this a very broad appeal indeed.
Comment: A very well made whisky, crammed with points of interest. I hope their distillery tour is as compelling....
