Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: A waft of clean, crisp peat. Grassiness?
Palate: Malty sweetnesss. Barley sugar. Shortbread. Quick balancing dryness, with some estery fruitiness and acidity. Gooseberries.
Finish: Fruity, lively, almost effervescent.
Comment: Born on' dates are not a big issue when John Barleycorn must die, yet this whisky seems to have an especially fresh maltiness. A refreshing dram for the sultry suns of summer.
7.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fresh and clean, mixing green grass, lime, buttery malt/shortbread and bourbon biscuit. Grassier with water.
Palate: Sweet (honey, apple, orange) and then dries (malt, nuts). Very clean, but slightly rigid in structure.
Finish: Apple, dried, quite short.
Comment: A good aperitif whisky. Great drinking.
