Tasting notes

Taster Dave Broom

Nose: Ripe, fruit cake, sherried with touches of smoke, lime and cocoa powder,black grape pressings, panettone, crystallised fruits, and underlyingsweetness.
Palate: eally delivers here. Rich, with immediate smoke, lots of kumquat,bilberry, clove, wild flower honey. Fudge like, the chewy fruit dominatesthe middle of the tongue.
Finish: The smoke returns before honey eases through.
Comment: HP is on fire at the moment.

Taster Martine Nouet

Nose: Tangy, rubbery. Burnt tyre, earth, moss. A faint citrus note in the back. Getsbiscuit on time.
Palate: Sweet. Velvety mouthfeel. The same rubbery note as on the nose. Developson mint with a touch of chocolate.
Finish: Not long but quite pleasant. A ginger hint.
Comment: Quite muscular but well structured. For a wintery day.
