Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Quite meaty at first, roast pork. But there is a sweetness too, baked apples, poached pears. Hints of spice lurk too.
Palate: Coats the mouth, feels like slick olive oil. The spices build up gently with some dried pineapple and coconut.
Finish: Long and lingering.
Comment: An interesting whisky with layers of flavour to explore.
8.5
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Ginger and brown sauce. Progressively more savoury.
Palate: Real mouth-presence. Slightly waxy, with tropical fruit and spice.
Finish: Polished oak and Cherryade.
Comment: A drop of water really brings this whisky together.
