Tasting notes
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: Peanut brittle toffee, fresh butter, dark honeycomb, polished wood and a touch of menthol.
Palate: A superb ginger/toffee/honeycomb combo hits the palate first; it's sweet, rich and aromatic all in the same mouthful. Lovely.
Finish: Incredibly lengthy, with a touch of dark chocolate/pimento and woody spices digging their heels in.
Comment: Bold and very well balanced; taking just the right amount of magic from the wood.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Malty with an earthy touch. Fern, toasted brown bread. Orange marmalade. With water, lemon posset.
Palate: Crisp and dry. Toffee immediately followed by a spicy outburst. Ginger nutmeg. A touch of candied orange.
Finish: Dry and spicy.
Comment: An elegant and enticing sherry seasoned Speysider.
