Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Vanilla fudge with toasted peanuts, cherries and heady floral notes. The plastic wrappers that oranges are transported in, sherbet, toasted oak. Marzipan, candle wax and buttered popcorn.
Palate: That waxed note comes through, in a good way, like the white fatty part of dried ham. Citrus and sherbet fizz. Sweet, then bitter oak.
Finish: Cherry Lips sweeties, orange sherbet and liquorice dips, Cherry Cola.
Comment: Interesting notes for a Bourbon, that orange sherbet explosion is wonderful, really works.

Taster   Mark Newton
Nose: Sweet shops. Cherries and vanilla. Cranberries. Fruit dies back revealing buttery, herbal notes. Sage, green tea and honey.
Palate: Viscous and creamy, with aniseed, cranberries and warming wood. Cinnamon, clove. But it isn’t aggressive. Raspberry jam. Blackcurrants – concentrated squash. Vanilla, naturally, and maple syrup.
Finish: Warming and slightly too woody, but brings cinnamon and chewy raspberry jam.
Comment: Simple stuff, but utterly delicious.
